Reactions, work-ups and isolations are optimized using a designed approach. All unit operations are improved and steps synchronized to develop safe, economic and robust processes. Also here parallel experimentation is applied to save time and get more meaningful data. DOE has been implemented already for some 20 years to obtain a detailed understanding of reactions. Critical process parameters and optimal conditions are identified and borders are set, within which the process has to be operated in.
Particular emphasis is put on the physical properties of the API. Crystallization and particle design are our core competences.
We use MODDE for DOE, SIMCA for principal component analysis, Lab-View for data acquisition in the lab, Honeywell Experion for data acquisition at bench scale, pilot plant and production and ProSim for simulation work.
