Pilot plant
The R&D pilot plant is located at Fermion’s Oulu manufacturing site, which is regularly inspected by the major regulatory authorities. The pilot plant is operated by the employees of commercial manufacturing, and it can also be used for commercial production of small scale APIs. All manufacturing is performed under cGMP. Pilot plant technical capabilities include
- 1 x250L, 2 x 400L, 1 x 600L reactors
- Glass
- 6bar and 160 deg. C
- Honeywell automatization
- split valves, glove boxes and isolators
- OEB 1-5 (containment > 0,1 µg/m3)
